Jumping the Shark Podcast #69

This week’s Jumping the Shark features another new guest, Good Old Games PR and Marketing Manager Lukasz Kukawski. With Danielle and I unable to attend this part of the Thursday afternoon recording (silly day jobs), which featured talk of GoG, Witcher 2, and a lengthy discussion on DRM, Bill and Brandon conducted another very solid interview. Before that, through the magic of out of sequence editing, the full gang is together again to talk up Witcher 2 (my preview build), Portal 2 Co-op, Sly Collection, Lume, and a little more With Fire and Sword.

Speaking of out of sequence editing, there were some troubles with a couple audio feeds this week so both segments are Skype recordings. That’s been the case frequently of late just as a matter of saving time and will likely continue into the future, even though it means a few rougher edges than when I edit multi-track. Sorry, it’s either that or fall even further behind Brandon and Bill’s post counts here at No High Scores because multitrack editing is a serious time sink. Hopefully you don’t really notice from week to week, but if audio quality issues are starting to bug you let me know. I always cave in the face of overwhelming opinion.

Todd Brakke

Todd was born in Ann Arbor, with a Michigan helmet in one hand and a mouse in the other. (Never you mind the logistics of this.) He grew, vertically anyway, and is a 20-year publishing veteran as an editor of books on consumer tech and professional development for educators. Because that wasn't enough of a challenge, Todd was a 20-year part-time snob about video games, writing reviews, features, and more for multiple outlets from 1997-2015.
